First Year Diploma Programs

Completion of a Diploma Program allows for direct entry into the second year of an undergraduate degree in Information Technology (IT)

Overview

Our Diploma Programs are two-semester courses that function as an alternative first year of an undergraduate degree at CDU. The programs are for students who are close to meeting academic and English entry requirements but require additional support in their first year of study.

Successful completion of a Diploma Program allows for direct entry into the second year of an undergraduate degree in Information and Technology.

After completion of the First-year Diploma you may progress to the second year of one of the following degrees:

The Bachelor of Information Technology will prepare you to be responsible for more than just systems or software; you will be developing creative and innovative technologies for the modern world.

Throughout your studies, you will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as web design and development, networking, application development and systems.

You will also be encouraged to be an open-minded problem solver, a creative thinker and an engaging communicator, which will help progress your career in the IT industry.
